Mr Admas Abera
Admas Abera is an assistant professor at Haramaya University, School of Public Health in Ethiopia. He received his MSc degree in Epidemiology from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa and has a BSc degree in Public Health. Admas Abera authored and co-authored peer-reviewed articles in the field of public health including communicable and non-communicable diseases, Health Systems, and Health Information Systems.
His research interest includes Health Systems, Health Information Systems, Maternal and Child Health, TB and HIV, and Non-Communicable Diseases. He teaches Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Research Methods, and Statistical Software to undergraduate and graduate students at Haramaya University. Moreover, he leads projects in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and other international organizations where HIS technical support is provided to health institutions among other initiatives.
